Teambuilding With Startled Bunny – A Film Production Experience

These innovative teambuilding courses take training out of the classroom and onto location.  This challenging  programme is structured around the highly enjoyable experience of making a film as part of a team.  In our experience the process of filmmaking has great potential for development. 

On the longer courses courses you will have the opportunity to complete the Belbin Self-Perception Inventory, which gives an individual profile, based on the nine Belbin team roles.  This is a useful point of reference in identifying potential for development.  It also provides some insights on how the different roles interact, which is especially useful for a team exercise.  It is a well established system that really works in practice.  We are Belbin Team-Role accredited, which means we are qualified to give feedback on the results of the tests.  (Belbin logo to be included)

We ask learners to complete the Belbin Self-perception Inventory before the course begins, and then discuss the results during the first session.  This gives a useful starting point to the programme.

How much time will it take?

However much you choose!  This is a flexible, customised programme, which can be run as a one-day team-bonding course including a half-day video shoot.  It can also be forumulated as a 3 day part-residential course with teambuilding sessions built into the processes of scripting, shooting, and postproduction. 

The depth of teambuilding knowledge and experience required will depend upon the training needs of your organisation.
